Overview
ROLE AT A GLANCE:
Lead and represent the MPC function in Malaysia, acting as the primary owner of distributor
compliance strategy, execution, and risk management. This role ensures alignment between global
policies and local market practices, drives compliance education and behavioral change, and
safeguards the business through effective case management, cross-functional collaboration, and
proactive risk prevention.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Market Leadership & Accountability Own and lead the MPC function in Malaysia, setting clear compliance priorities and ensuring alignment with business objectives and regional direction.
- Strategic Leadership Engagement Cultivate strategic partnerships with market leaders to shape decisions, mitigate risk, and drive aligned business outcomes.
- Policy Governance & Localization Lead the strategic localization of global policies, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and market dynamics while upholding consistency with global standards.
- Compliance Education & Behavioral Impact Drive high-impact compliance education strategies, focusing on measurable behavioral change, business relevance, and continuous improvement based on data and insights.
- Case Management & Risk Mitigation Oversee end-to-end case management and enforcement, ensuring consistent, fair, and timely resolution while proactively mitigating emerging risks.
- Operational Excellence & Performance Management Optimize processes, workflows, and team performance through data-driven management, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to internal standards.
- MPC Brand Positioning & Stakeholder Trust Elevate the visibility and credibility of MPC as a strategic business partner, strengthening stakeholder trust and reinforcing a culture of compliance across the market.
TEAM DYNAMICS:
- 3 FTE - Supervisor, MPC; Senior Representative, MPC; Representative, MPC
LEADERSHIP AND SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides direct supervision of the MPC team in Malaysia.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS:
Education
- University graduate preferably hold a degree in law or legal related field is a plus.
Experience
- Preferably with a minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role within a compliance-related function.
Skills/Certifications
- Dynamic and strong leadership skills
- Strongly customer oriented and owns excellent customer service experience; experience in MLM Company would be a plus.
- Fluent English capabilities especially in reading, writing; good verbal & written communication skills in Chinese. Knowledge in other dialects would be a plus.
- Good administrative skills with hands on computer skills, able to use Windows, MS office package software.
- Able to organize workload for effective implementation.
- Ability to solve problems and challenges and carry out responsibilities under minimal supervision.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Must be self-motivated and highly attentive to details and follow-up.
- Ability to work under deadline pressure, while maintaining a positive, professional attitude in a very fast-paced environment.
