THE JOB

We are seeking a highly driven and forward-thinking professional to lead next-generation technology initiatives across the organisation. This role will focus on advancing innovation through smart manufacturing, AI adoption, automation, big data analytics, robotics, and Industry 4.0 transformation to enhance operational efficiency and overall business performance.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional business and technology teams to identify opportunities, assess emerging technologies, lead pilot initiatives, and drive digital transformation across both manufacturing and enterprise functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drive enterprise-wide digital transformation and smart manufacturing initiatives
• Lead AI, Big Data, automation, robotics, and Industry 4.0 programs across the organisation
• Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and optimize processes through technology adoption
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement emerging technologies and innovation initiatives
• Lead Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs), pilot programs, and technology assessments to validate business value
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, Engineering, QA, Supply Chain, IT, and business stakeholders
• Develop and execute technology roadmaps aligned with overall digital transformation strategy
• Monitor industry trends and benchmark against best practices to drive continuous improvement
• Engage and manage external technology vendors, solution providers, and research partners
• Present strategic recommendations, progress updates, and business cases to senior management

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Automation, Robotics, or related discipline
• Minimum 10 years of experience in:

Digital transformation

Smart manufacturing / Industry 4.0

Industrial automation

Data and technology innovation initiatives

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and digital technology integration
• Proven track record in delivering technology-led transformation or process improvement projects
• Exposure to AI, data analytics, automation, or smart factory solutions is advantageous
• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement experience
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and regional environments
