Job Summary:
The Manager of Project Planning & Development (Commercial) is responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, design coordination, and execution of commercial real estate development projects. This role ensures that projects align with business objectives, are delivered on time and within budget, and meet quality and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Strategy
- Lead feasibility studies and market analysis for new commercial development opportunities.
- Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align project goals with business strategy.
Design & Development Coordination-
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors during design and planning phases.
- Review and approve design proposals, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company standards.
- Manage design development and assist in tender process.
Project Execution & Oversight
- Monitor project progress, ensuring milestones are met and risks are mitigated.
- Attend design & technical coordination process.
- Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Stakeholder Management
- Familiar with local authorities permits, approvals, and compliance matters.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and investors.
- Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment.
Risk Management
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
