Key Responsibilities:
Craft and Refine Copy: Write, edit, and proofread all in-product copy, including UI text, microcopy, instructional messages, error states, and notifications.
Collaborate on Design: Work directly with product designers to shape the user experience from the ground up. Participate in design critiques, wireframing, and prototyping sessions to ensure copy and design work seamlessly together.
Establish and Maintain Voice and Tone: Contribute to and maintain our product's style guide and voice and tone guidelines. Ensure all copy is consistent, on-brand, and reflects our company's personality.
Conduct User Research: Partner with UX researchers to test and validate copy. Use user feedback, data, and usability findings to iterate on language and improve clarity.
Influence Strategy: Advocate for the user in all product decisions. Use your understanding of content strategy to help define product goals and user flows.
Work with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with product managers, engineers, and marketers to align on product goals and timelines, ensuring a cohesive user journey.
Contribute to a Culture of Clarity: Evangelize the importance of clear, accessible, and inclusive language across the organization.
