Manager, Product Management (AmBank Islamic)

Location: Menara AmBank, Jalan Yap Kwan Seng

Job Responsibilities:

• To enhance and restructure existing RB Islamic products (assets and liabilities) as well as develop and roll out new RB Islamic products within a given timeline; that is in compliance with internal and regulatory policies, Shariah concepts as issued by BNM and ShC.
• Contribute through sales strategy and campaign initiatives to ensure AmBank Islamic sales targets are met.
• Assist in developing sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
• Launch of new products that already signoff for Operational Readiness.
• Support and work closely with LOBs for any further assistance and guideline on Islamic products.
• Continue to address any system enhancement requirement.
• Compile and review products/services provided at AmBank & AmBank Islamic branches & provide feedback to Head of Distribution and Sales Management.
• To ensure all Shariah Governance are in place and to minimize Shariah Non-Compliance incidents.

Requirements:

• A recognized bachelor's degree in any related fields.
• A recognized certification in Islamic Finance preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in product development.
• Broad knowledge in retail banking products
• Familiar with process flow for different retail products
• Ability to conduct UAT, product training, coaching & providing support to various stakeholders.
• Good writing and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork & cooperation, and relationship building.
