This role will be responsible to direct and manage all activities engaged in the project sites as designated with emphasis on planning, organizing, control and co-ordination of construction related matters to meet project requirements.
To be eligible for this role, you will require :
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of working experience in construction industry, specializing in Residential.
- Strong project management skills with experience in scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project).
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, BIM, or construction software tools.
- Registered with BEM or relevant professional body.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
Your tasks & responsibilities will be :
- To plan resources needs for new project including the organization structure and deployment of plant and machinery
- To review and approval of construction program.
- To review inspection and Test Plan and Method Statements.
- To attend contract review and recommend award.
- To run the project assigned on own with the assistance by immediate superior for decision making.
- To oversee and review the progress of the projects to ensure completion within time, budget and quality guidelines and requirements.
- To liaise with sub-contractors, government officials and relevant parties to identify and solve problems and any other matters to ensure smooth implementation of projects.
- To manage the subcons and nominated subcons, procurement, safety compliance and quality control.
- To provide positive leadership, training and motivation to subordinates.
- To recommend improvement and modification in design and construction techniques, working processes / procedures, safety and health conditions to improve quality and efficiency.
- To maintain communication procedures with client, consultants, site personnel and Head Office, compilation and preparation of reports for record / feedback of information for Management's review.
- To carry out any other duties as and when instructed by the Management from time to time.
