Objectives of the Position
- Act as regional Subject Matter Expert for Cost & Operations Controlling across APA.
- Own and steer key frameworks: FMC, cost planning, COGS transparency, CapEx portfolio governance, and NTP/ICM oversight.
- Drive standardization, digitization, and process governance across all APA sites.
- Provide expert steering, analytics and strategic insights to APA management.
Main Responsibilities
SME Leadership Cost Controlling
- Lead fixed cost, RCC and discretionary spend planning cycles.
- Consolidate, challenge and interpret site cost developments.
- Ensure standardized cost methodologies across all APA sites.
- Drive scenario modelling and cost transparency initiatives.
Oversight of Operations Controlling
- Lead FMC consolidation and alignment of headcount, volume and capacity data.
- Oversee COGS transparency, usage-factor analysis and BOM/recipe reviews.
- Govern CapEx portfolio processes and ensure quality PPM submissions.
- Oversee NTP/ICM administration and compliance, guiding analyst & sites.
Process Excellence & Digitalization
- Drive automation of dashboards, modelling tools and core controlling processes.
- Lead simplification and standardization initiatives to improve efficiency.
- Oversee correct controlling master data setup (cost centers, IOs, PC structures).
Cross-functional Steering & Collaboration
- Act as primary APA counterpart for site controllers and operations teams.
- Ensure aligned assumptions across Operations, Supply Chain, Planning, and Reporting BG.
- Represent APA in global/regional controlling networks.
Requirements
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering or related field.
- At least 7 years experience in cost controlling, operations controlling, or production finance.
Technical & Professional Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of SAP CO/FI, PPM, and BI tools (Power BI advantageous).
- Deep understanding of FMC, COGS, BOM structures and cost flows.
- Strong analytical and conceptual steering capabilities.
