JOB PURPOSE
- Assist the Head of GRMI in implementing and enhancing the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework, including the identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring of strategic and operational risks across the Duopharma Group, to ensure the organization meets its obligations to stakeholders and fosters a strong risk awareness culture.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Ensure the Group's risk management policies and strategies align with applicable standards (e.g., ISO 31000) and the Group's strategic objectives.
- Coordinate and facilitate risk assessments, reviews, and action planning processes across business units, including for key initiatives such as new projects, investments, and mergers & acquisitions, with a focus on identifying key risk exposures and developing appropriate mitigation plans.
- Monitor and track the implementation of risk mitigation action plans through regular engagement with risk owners.
- Support the communication and embedding of the risk management framework across business units to promote a common risk language and consistent risk practices throughout the Group.
- Review and evaluate the effectiveness of existing risk management policies and methodologies, and recommend enhancements where necessary.
- Promote risk awareness and culture by planning and organizing risk management training and refresher programs.
- Maintain and update risk register information within the ERM system to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely reporting.
NETWORKING & PRINCIPAL RELATIONSHIP
Internal
- All Departments provide consultation on risk matters
- Finance & Purchasing approve all financial matter for Department
- Board of Directors on risk matters in the absence of Head, GRMI
External
- Networking with Risk Practitioners, Consultants and Subject Matter Experts
- Liaise with societies on membership and conferences
PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration / Accounting, Engineering, Science or Equivalent
Certification (Professional Membership, etc.)
- Enterprise Risk Manager (preferably)
Experience
- Minimum 5 years working experience in managing Enterprise Risk Management
- Minimum 5 years working experience in pharmaceuticals industry
Technical Competencies
- Strong knowledge of ISO 31000 would be an advantage
- Exposure in Manufacturing industry and Commercial knowledge
- Strong report writing and relevant knowledge and experience of ERM tool / system
