We are looking for Manager of Wealth Management Risk to join our Group Risk Management team. This role isn't just about oversight it's about providing assurance that Regional Wealth Management risks are managed adequately across HLBB & HLISB Malaysia and HLBS, Singapore.

You will serve in providing independent oversight for Regional Wealth Management (RWM) business risks. Your primary focus will be focusing the Product Risk Rating framework and ensuring Responsible Selling practices are embedded within the Bank's risk culture.

In this role, you will be responsible for

• Surveillance Assessment: Conduct deep-dive reviews of sales practices to ensure sales teams adhere to ethical guidelines and transparent practices.

• Customer Suitability Assessment and Product Risk Rating Framework: Assess the robustness of customer risk ratings to ensure client's profile matches with appropriate investment products. Continuously update the product risk rating framework to reflect the evolving investment landscape.

• Behavioral Risk Management: Review rewards and incentives to ensure they align with responsible selling and mitigate mis-selling risks.

• Data Driven Insights: Maintain risk dashboard that provide management with actionable metrics and clear visibility into mitigation strategies.

• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.

• Expertise: A profound understanding of wealth management products and the ability to navigate non-linear risk-return complexities.

• Credentials: Professional certificates such as CFA, FRM, or BRM certifications are highly regarded.

• Skill: Possess the soft power to inspire team members, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive objectives across the Group Risk Management division.
