Manager/Senior Manager, Equities

Responsibilities

• Oversee assigned client portfolios, making active investment decisions with guidance from leadership.
  
• Strive to outperform benchmarks and competitors to meet specific client return targets.
  
• Guarantee that all trades and strategies adhere to the Capital Market Services Act 2007, internal policies, and individual client mandates.
  
• Create, execute, and monitor clear investment strategies while managing corporate actions like rights or bonus issues.
  
• Lead research for specific industries and generate actionable investment ideas.
  
• Conduct at least 20 company visits or analyst briefings and produce a minimum of 6 formal research reports annually.
  
• Supervise junior team members by reviewing their reports and acting as a career mentor for designated analysts.
  
• Execute security trades diligently to secure the best possible pricing and volume.
  
• Represent the firm by presenting investment insights to current and prospective clients.
  
• Assist senior leadership in creating investment proposals and developing new financial products.
  
  

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• 6 to 8 years in the investment industry.
• Must hold a Capital Market Services Representative's License for Fund Management.
• Proficiency in Bloomberg/Reuters, Microsoft Office, and a deep understanding of financial statements and economic fundamentals.
