- Assisting Head of Support & Special Projects in the following:
(1) Conducting post-mortem review of accounts transferred to GLR from Wholesale Banking/ Business Banking or pursuant to ad-hoc requests from Management
(2) Executing special projects pertaining to impaired loans/ financing and other support functions of the department as required
(3) Adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures while executing day-to-day duties.
- Liaise with staff within GLR/ Risk (and other relevant parties) to ascertain that proper governance has been adhere to for cases under the purview of this role.
- Monitoring and ensuring that the department adhere to all the necessary compliance
- To conduct post mortem review for the NPL accounts above RM10.0 million threshold
- Execute special projects pertaining to impaired loans/ financing in particular to any breach of compliance issues as and when required
- To undertake assignments and tasks assigned by HoD/ Team Leader
- Enhancing technical competency via on the job training as well as other structured learning initiatives to improve knowledge (e.g. external courses, own research)
- Keeping abreast with best practices, regulatory requirements and industry developments in finance, restructuring & recovery.
Job Requirements
- Degree or Professional Qualification in Finance, Business, Commerce or similar fields
- Certified Credit Professional or similar credit-related certification [Advantageous to have]
- Proficient in relevant regulatory requirements, industry best practices & policies
- Proficient in both conventional & shariah business and risk management matters
- At least 6 years credit experience in SME/Commercial/Corporate environment
- Strong presentation and communication skills
