Job Responsibilities
The primary function of this role involves:
- Market Intelligence: Conducting in-depth analysis of economic, demographic, and real estate market trends to identify emerging opportunities and potential threatsfor real estate industry uptrends, including housing, commercial, industrial, infrastructure, an up-coming economic corridors.
- Investment Feasibility: Evaluating the viability and profitability of potential acquisitions, developments, and dispositions through rigorous financial modelling, feasibility analysis, risk appetite assessment, SWOT analysis, opportunities and challenges that provide the best-suited business proposition and development expansion plan.
- Strategy Formulation: Developing and recommending actionable business propositions and sustainable strategic plans that align the real estate portfolio with the company's overall objectives and vision.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Preparing and presenting clear, data-driven reports and presentations to Senior Management, enabling them to make confident, evidence-based decisions and due diligence.

The position requires a combination of formal education, relevant professional experience, and skill set.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is the minimum requirement (e.g., Real Estate, Investment, Finance, Economics, Business Management or a related field).
- Master's degree in real estate, Finance, or Business Administration (MBA) is preferrable with added advantage.
Key Qualifications and Skills
- Strong Analytical Skills: Analytical and quantitative skills are crucial for interpreting complex data, conducting financial modelling, and forecasting returns and risks.
- Real Estate Market Knowledge: A deep understanding of real estate market dynamics, local trends, property valuation techniques, and industry best practices is essential.
- Financial Acumen: Proficiency in financial terms, principles, cash flow analysis, ROI analysis, budgeting, and cost control.
- Communication & Presentation Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to prepare comprehensive reports, investment memorandums, and deliver effective, persuasive presentations to diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic Thinking & Risk Management: The ability to balance operational delivery with strategic planning, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Technical Proficiency: Knowledge and experience with real estate research systems, data sources, and portfolio management and investment.
- Experience: Relevant professional experience in real estate investment analysis, land banking & acquisition, research, or advisory within an industry setting.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., finance, legal, marketing, operations) and manage relationships with external partners and clients.
