Job Description

Your role in HEINEKEN

As a Manager – Supply Chain Finance, you will play a critical role in driving financial performance and decision-making across our manufacturing and supply chain operations. You will lead product costing, manufacturing finance, working capital management, and business case evaluations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, cost transparency, and actionable insights that support operational excellence and business growth. As a trusted finance business partner, you will collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Operations, and Leadership teams to identify opportunities, manage risks, and optimize costs across the value chain.

In this role, you will also

  • Lead the development, maintenance, and governance of product costing models, including standard costing, BOM costing, transfer pricing, and variance analysis.
  • Analyze manufacturing performance by reviewing actual versus standard costs, identifying cost drivers, and recommending improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams to provide financial insights and support operational decision-making.
  • Drive monthly closing activities, including journal postings, reconciliations, cost analysis, and reporting.
  • Lead monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and strategic planning activities for manufacturing and supply chain operations.
  • Monitor production variable costs, purchase price variances (PPV), inventory movements, and working capital performance.
  • Prepare and present management reports on COGS, inventory valuation, production costs, and operational performance.
  • Provide financial evaluation and scenario modelling for capital investments, productivity initiatives, and supply chain projects.
  • Manage excise duty forecasts, inventory assessments, and cash flow requirements to support efficient working capital management.
  • Translate complex financial data into meaningful business insights and recommendations for stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Support transfer pricing assessments, new product costing, export costing, and other strategic business initiatives.
  • Act as a key finance representative in cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Cost Accounting, Management Accounting, Manufacturing Finance, or Supply Chain Finance.
  • Strong knowledge of product costing, standard costing, inventory accounting, and financial planning processes.
  • Experience in manufacturing environments with a solid understanding of production operations and supply chain dynamics.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large data sets and translate findings into business actions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering skills, with the ability to influence across different levels of the organization.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement, challenge the status quo, and identify opportunities for greater efficiency.
