Lead and manage all packaging development for the company's products, fulfilling the customer requirements.
Leading the team to achieve shorter lead time, high accuracy and cost effectiveness.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop innovative packaging solutions based on customer requirements, cost, product safety, and branding.
Create prototypes, conduct drop tests, and perform product packing evaluations for customer and management review.
Provide technical and managerial packaging guidance, recommending suitable artwork, materials, and dimensions.
Establish packaging quality standards and oversee all packaging development, including design specifications and board materials.
Perform first preprint labeling verification to confirm labeling accuracy before mass production.
Drive packaging revisions, simplification, and cost-improvement initiatives to support business needs.
Manage packaging development projects with Marketing, Purchasing, R&D, Production, and QC to meet objectives and timelines while staying updated on packaging innovations.
Maintain stock codes and artwork updates in D365 and share point, coordinate label development with MIS, train subordinates where applicable, and perform other assigned tasks.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies, Design, or a related discipline.
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in packaging/artwork development or related roles.
Knowledge of supply chain processes and management, including end-to-end cycle times.
Experienced in continuous improvement methodologies such as process mapping, 5S, and Kaizen.
Familiar with manufacturing processes, SOPs, and analytical techniques for evaluating and improving solutions.
