Summary
Supplier qualification: Lead a team of resources and be responsible for the evaluation and qualification of suppliers and subcontractors as per the defined procedures.
Business process: Be responsible for maintaining the processes and procedures of supply chain function including periodic review, process improvements etc for the efficient functioning of the supply chain function.
Reporting: Generate, review and publish weekly, monthly and yearly reports / presentations related to supply chain function and measure KPI's of individuals, business areas etc of the function.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead a team of resources and be responsible in establishing and managing the approved suppliers listing for the Company.
- Reviews and approves the request for supplier registration and the evaluation process.
- Leads the development of new supply sources through working interactions with existing and future suppliers.
- Coordinates and work with other departments to resolve all issues relevant to supplier qualification, supplier data management etc.
- Responsible for efficient utilization of third party Supplier Management modules and implement process improvements as and when necessary.
- Conduct supplier performance evaluations periodically and manage corrective actions if needed with the support of other functions.
- Establish, Review and maintain all the procedures and processes required for efficient functioning of the supply chain. And propose and implement process improvement plans in line with Company's policy.
- Liaise with other internal functions to establish and publish the required contractual and the terms and condition templates to be utilized by the supply chain team.
- Coordination with internal functions and external partners to maintain and implement process improvements In SAP related to Supply Chain.
- Generate review and publish weekly monthly and yearly reports / presentations for better understanding of the performance of the supply chain and for process improvement.
- Coordinate within supply chain to understand inefficiencies & process improvement requirements and the implement corrective measures.
- Be responsible for liaising with Internal and External auditors by providing details / data as required, coordination between auditee and auditors.
- Identify the corrective actions required, work with the stakeholders and close Audit findings if any.
- Identify supply chain risks and opportunities, maintain, and publish the risks and opportunities register for supply chain.
- Any other duties as assigned by the supply chain function.
Requirements
- Relevant degree/professional course in Engineering, Science or Business / Supply Chain Management.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in supply chain and procurement management.
- Proven experience in working within a large Supply Chain department preferably utilizing SAP.
- Good awareness with respect identifying & sourcing from leading regional & international suppliers & subcontractors.
- Strong analytical skills and cost control management experience of all aspects of procurement, logistics operations, production, materials supply, and inventory are required
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, taking ownership of assigned work and developing strategic solutions and recommendations.
