To develop and execute a sustainability framework for the organization
To identify areas for sustainable solutions, i.e. from the perspective of processes, products and community
To develop methodologies to assess the viability and success of sustainability initiatives/programs
To develop a flagship program as an anchor to our sustainability initiatives and effort
To lead and develop the annual sustainability report to emphasis on the reporting on non-financial performance
To work with other departments to retrieve project/campaign information to be used for award submissions related to sustainability
Evaluate, coordinate and submit for reputable awards which will enhance the company's status as well as for individual projects.
Prepare the company's annual Sustainability report, and other relevant publications
Compare and coordinate with agency/suppliers/vendors for related project implementation
Assist various departments in communicating and promoting sustainability initiatives and programs together with sustainability-related communication strategy
Research and keep updated to regulatory compliance requirements and industry developments in relation to sustainability that will impact company operations and engage with relevant departments to ensure compliance, when necessary
Requirements:
Degree in Public Relations, Mass Comm or equivalent
At least 5 years of experience in specific areas of Sustainability Reporting
Experience in Property or Construction sector will be an added advantage
Proficient in GRI Reporting standards. Knowledge in FTSE4Good will be an added advantage
Able to operate with minimal supervision and possess strong sense of ownership and responsibility
Able to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks, projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Results-oriented to deliver within stated time-lines and budgets, innovative, creative, resourceful, highly committed
Good in analytical thinking skills, good attention to details
Written and verbal proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Literacy in Mandarin will be an added advantage
