About the Job
You will support the Senior HR Business Partner and Talent Acquisition Lead in managing permanent recruitment for Great Eastern Takaful. You will be involved in the full recruitment lifecycle, including working with business partners on resourcing needs, organizing and conducting candidate interviews, performing reference checks, and updating applicants information in iHR. You regard Human Resource as a career and at the same time appreciates the overall HR challenges and able to work effectively in a team.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the identification of relevant data sources and the collection of workforce data to enable effective workforce gap analysis.
- Assist in executing recruitment plans in collaboration with business leaders to ensure timely and successful filling of open positions.
- Recommend and implement appropriate assessment tools, techniques, and technology solutions to help hiring managers evaluate job fit for midcareer permanent roles, while optimising timetohire and managing recruitment costs within the approved budget.
- Represent the organisation at external career fairs, recruitment events, and forums.
- Independently manage the corporate careers website and all other recruitment platforms.
- Advise hiring managers on fair, unbiased, and compliant employment selection practices.
- Coordinate with line managers to schedule interviews and meetings with candidates.
- Provide regular and timely updates to line managers and candidates on recruitment progress and status.
- Communicate job offers to candidates accurately and comprehensively.
- Analyse screening and assessment outcomes to support hiring managers in making informed employment decisions.
- Ensure all required preemployment checks and screenings are completed prior to issuing job offers.
- Deliver campus outreach and engagement activities in collaboration with Employer Branding, Graduate Recruitment, and Employee Engagement teams.
- Assist with the review and refinement of the recruitment process to enhance candidate and line manager experience
We are looking for people who
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of working experience in Human Resources management.
- Possesses a bachelor's degree from a recognised university, preferably in Arts and Social Sciences, such as History, Anthropology, Psychology, or Sociology.
- Meticulous and have a high level of enthusiasm.
- Has a sense of urgency and able to meet deadlines.
- Discreet and diplomatic when required.
- Good with Microsoft office, Excel & Powerpoint
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
- Proven ability to work independently and a team player
- Possess an analytical mind and can multi task
- Good interpersonal skills
