The Manager, Talent Business Partner is a senior people advisor supporting multiple business and functional portfolios within Gentari's clean energy platform. The role delivers end‑to‑end HR business partnering across workforce planning, organisational effectiveness, people cost management, hiring, performance management, employee relations, rewards alignment, and talent outcomes. Working closely with senior leaders, the role applies strong commercial judgement to translate business priorities into practical, outcome‑focused people strategies aligned with enterprise HR frameworks and values. Operating in a matrixed, fast‑evolving environment, the role requires the ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and support leaders through complex and often morale‑sensitive decisions with clarity and pragmatism.

Responsibilities

  • Partner senior leaders as a trusted advisor on people strategy, workforce trade-offs, and organisational priorities;
  • Lead workforce planning, organisation design and role clarity (structures, spans/layers, capability needs);
  • Own people cost and headcount governance for assigned portfolios; partner Finance on budgets and resourcing decisions;
  • Drive end-to-end hiring priorities with Talent Acquisition, challenging scope, level and affordability where needed;
  • Enable strong performance and talent outcomes through goal setting, calibration, talent reviews and succession planning;
  • Provide hands-on guidance on employee relations, investigations and disciplinary matters, ensuring fair and compliant outcomes;
  • Use workforce data (attrition, performance distribution, cost variance) to anticipate risks and drive timely interventions;
  • Support leaders through change with clear communication, pragmatic execution, and a steady, people-centred approach.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline;
  • Minimum 13 years of HR experience, including senior HRBP/people advisory roles supporting leaders across multiple portfolios;
  • Strong track record in organisation design, workforce planning, people cost/headcount governance, hiring, performance and employee relations;
  • Comfort operating in matrixed, change-heavy environments; able to bring clarity through ambiguity and competing priorities;
  • Commercial mindset with the confidence to challenge constructively and influence without formal authority;
  • Pragmatic, solution-oriented and people-centred—steady when handling sensitive situations;
  • People management experience and exposure to energy, infrastructure, industrial or technology sectors are advantageous;
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills;
  • Clear, structured, and confident communication in both written and verbal.
