Job Brief
The position will support the Tax Directors in delivering advisory, providing technical expertise and developing training matters relating to both direct and indirect tax.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist Director in advisory job replating to direct or indirect tax
- Attend to internal queries arising from the tax team
- Conduct internal and external training on tax-related topics
- Assist in tax-related publications and bulletins based on any tax updates / guidelines / gazette orders etc.
- Perform other official duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time
Job Requirements
- Recognised university degree and / or relevant professional qualification in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
- Preferably a member of MIA/CTIM
- Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience, with 2-5 years of Managerial experience
- Strong technical ability, excellent interpersonal skills and leadership qualities
- Self motivated, able to work independently and a good team player
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
