Job Description

POSITION  

Managing Director 

LOCATION  

E-5-1, KL Gateway Residence, Menara SuezCap, 2, Jalan Kerinchi, Bangsar South, 59200 Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur 

OPERATION SHIFT  

Monday – Friday, 9.00am - 6.00pm 

SALARY PACKAGE  

Up to RM18,000 

START DATE 

JUNE 2026 

 

JOB SUMMARY 

The Managing Director is responsible for managing, planning, designing, implementing operation and administration activities of the office aligning global business strategy of IYUNO Media Group. The position ensures company directions and business are aligned with operating objectives, standards and goals. 

JOB DESCRIPTION  

  • Directs and supervises the activities of all employees  
  • Delegates duties among employees and allocate proper resources to the team  
  • Provides guidance and leaderships for employees as needed and support employee developmental programs  
  • Implements Company policies and makes key decisions within the office  
  • Maintains budgets and monitors cost against budget  
  • Researches and analyzes industry, market, and competitors to make informed strategy decisions  
  • Takes initiatives to take advantage of market opportunities, reduce operational threats, and forestall business risks  
  • Responsible to identify / grow local business in Malaysia  
  • Identifies core competencies, maximizes core strengths, and defines operational goals  
  • Able to represent IYUNO to major and potential clients and maintain relationships  
  • Leadership responsibilities - It is important to work with all staff in Malaysia office to grow their skills and capabilities  
  • Reports project status clearly to cross-border teams and management  
  • Liaisons with management to ensure Company efforts are in alignment 

JOB REQUIREMENT 

  • BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field; MSc, MA, MBA preferred  
  • 10 + years of working experience in post-production industry (subtitle & dubbing) is preferred  
  • Excellent understanding of localization trend and market changes in the local environment 
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal/written communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence across a variety of personality types and resolve conflicts with competing ideas 
  • Strong people management with multinational experience, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
