What You'll Do
- Provide accurate, consecutive interpretation between English and Mandarin Language (healthcare, legal, financial, customer support).
- Ensure neutrality, clarity, and cultural accuracy while preserving tone and intent.
- Handle live calls with professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality.
- Use note-taking, memory retention, and active listening to manage complex conversations.
- Participate in ongoing coaching and training to strengthen interpreting skills.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma (required); college degree preferred.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin Language
- Must be B2+ proficiency or higher.
- We are NOT accepting beginners/Intermediate proficiency.
- Ability to pass a language and interpreting skills assessment.
- Strong verbal communication, emotional control, and professionalism in fast-paced situations.
- Candidates have full Malaysian working rights.
- With or without interpreter experience—fresh talent is welcome!
- Open to working the night shift
- Availability to work night shift hours from 10PM to 7AM is required.
Work From Home Requirements
- Quiet, distraction-free workspace.
- Desktop or laptop (Windows/Mac) with at least 16GB RAM, no older than 5 years.
- Stable wired internet: 30 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload minimum (no hotspot).
- Functioning webcam; Windows 10+ / macOS Big Sur (OS 11)+.
