Mandarin-Speaking DAL Technical Lead

We are seeking a Mandarin-speaking DAL Technical Lead with strong hands-on engineering and technical leadership experience.

In this role, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of contributor evaluation systems, vetting infrastructure, workflow automation platforms, and operational analytics solutions.

You'll combine technical leadership, full-stack engineering, and systems design to build reliable, scalable platforms that support contributor quality, assessment, onboarding, and talent operations.

• Mandarin speaking with professional working proficiency in English
• 4+ years of experience building and deploying production-grade full-stack applications
• Strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, and/or Next.js
• Backend experience with Node.js, Express.js, NestJS, Python, or Java
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Hands-on experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Kubernetes experience is a plus
• Knowledge of OAuth, JWT, and SSO
• Strong understanding of APIs, system architecture, distributed systems, security, and performance optimization
• Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams

Experience in one or more of the following is a strong advantage:

• AI data operations
• RLHF or GenAI evaluation
• Crowdsourcing platforms
• Contributor or workforce management platforms
• Talent marketplaces
• Assessment and evaluation systems
• AI-powered applications and operational technology

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

• Lead technical architecture and hands-on development of scalable platforms
• Build contributor vetting, assessment, and evaluation systems
• Develop APIs, dashboards, and workflow automation solutions
• Improve operational analytics, onboarding workflows, and performance reporting
• Establish engineering standards and best practices
• Drive system scalability, security, reliability, and performance
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, recruitment, QA, and business teams
• Mentor developers and contribute to technical decision-making
