Manual Test Engineer

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual Test Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in manual testing and a passion for ensuring software quality. You will be responsible for executing test cases, identifying bugs, and collaborating with developers to enhance product quality.

Responsibilities

• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
• Identify, record, and track bugs and issues.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Collaborate with product development teams to ensure quality is built into the product from the start.

Skills and Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in manual testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and processes.
• Experience with test case design and execution.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
