System Tester / Manual Tester – Banking Payments

Job Description

We are looking for a System Tester / Manual Tester with experience in banking payment systems to support payment and funds transfer applications.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Telegraphic Transfer (TT), RENTAS, GIRO, and DuitNow testing, including end-to-end transaction validation, integration testing, and defect management.

Responsibilities

• Perform system, integration, regression, and UAT testing
• Design and execute test cases and test scenarios
• Validate payment transaction flows and reconciliation processes
• Perform testing for success, failure, timeout, reversal, and exception scenarios
• Validate interfaces and integrations with banking systems and channels
• Log, track, and manage defects
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with banking and BNM-related requirements

Required Skills

• Experience in Manual Testing / System Testing
• Hands-on experience with:
• Telegraphic Transfer (TT)
• RENTAS
• GIRO
• DuitNow
• Understanding of payment lifecycle, settlement, clearing, and reconciliation processes
• Familiar with defect management/testing tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Requirements

• 1–3 years of relevant experience
• Experience in banking, financial services, or payment systems environment
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills

• Exposure to regulatory or payment migration projects
• Software testing / QA certification
