Job description
DETAILED DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Responsible for the manufacturing activities and implementation of production schedules, production planning, quality and safety procedures in this plant.
- Directly in-charge of the overall performance of the Manufacturing area. Ensure the company's buildings, facilities, plant and equipment is adequately maintained.
- Drive a team of manufacturing supervisors and team leaders to ensure that manufacturing and contract milestones are maintained.
- Monitor direct and indirect hours to ensure required efficiency levels are maintained.
- Ensure that all manufacturing staff work towards fulfilling the quality requirements as detailed in the Quality Assurance Manual and associated procedures.
- Encourage a culture of safety awareness and safety first in all manufacturing and workshop activities of the company and implement the OH & S procedures of the Company.
- Review Monthly Production Schedule.
- Review Monthly/Yearly Maintenance Schedule.
- Initiate meeting with vendors over product quality issue and ensure corrective actions are taken.
ACADEMIC / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Electrical & Electronic or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years electronics manufacturing work experience
- Minimum 2 years managerial level experience
- Experience in electronic and assembly manufacturing an added advantage.

- Well versed in production, quality, customer service & maintenance processes
- Able to establish manufacturing process accordingly to product requirement
- Knowledge in ISO 9001:2015 QMS requirements
- Knowledge in 5S, Kaizen, TPM, LEAN manufacturing
- Knowledge in Value Stream Mapping & Production Improvement
- Knowledge in problem-solving techniques in SPC, CPK, FMEA and In-process Control
- Knowledge in measuring equipment calibration requirements
- Decision Making Skill
- Supervisory & Planning Skill to maximize resources
- People Management Skill
- Operation Management Skill
- Proficiency in English & Bahasa Malaysia
- Computer literate Microsoft Word, Excel
