The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes for quartz products.
Job Descriptions
- Select and implement appropriate manufacturing equipment and tooling.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure equipment meets production requirements.
- Maintain and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, like Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma projects to increase efficiency, reduce cost/waste, and improve product quality.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address production issues.
- Use Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Quality Tools to monitor and improve processes.
- Collaborate with the QC team to conduct inspections and resolve quality issues.
- Develop and prepare reports for project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control.
- Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma are highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
