You are responsible for supporting the Maintenance Department in executing scheduled maintenance activities, improving equipment reliability, and contributing to various upgrading projects. This role offers exposure to multiple areas including maintenance planning, mechanical, electrical & electronics, combustion systems, and instrumentation.
What You'll Do
- Assist in Planned Maintenance
- Support engineers in preparing and performing planned maintenance activities according to the schedule.
- Monitor and Analyze Equipment Data
- Collect and interpret basic maintenance and condition-monitoring data to support predictive maintenance insights.
- Perform Equipment Maintenance
- Assist in corrective and preventive maintenance, including inspections, servicing, and simple troubleshooting under supervision.
- Support Data Reporting
- Compile maintenance and line walk data for reporting purposes; assist in creating simple charts or visuals to summarize findings.
- Contribute to Reliability Improvements
- Support initiatives aimed at improving equipment reliability and plant efficiency.
- Assist in Documentation and SOPs
- Help create or update standard operating procedures, maintenance checklists, and technical documentation.
- This position is available at Kapar, Sungai Puloh and Shah Alam.
What You Need to Succeed
- Currently pursuing a Diploma in Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, Control & Instrumentation, or a related engineering field.
- CGPA of 3.0 or above is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Available for a full-time internship for a minimum of 36 months
