Job Description

Manufacturing Equipment & Tooling Engineer is responsible for leading and managing the engineering and quality functions within EIP, ensuring product and process excellence, customer satisfaction and compliance with industry standards. Drive continuous improvement and innovation across engineering and quality operations.

What You Will Do

  • Maintain furnaces, testing equipment, tooling, fixtures and associated manufacturing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime and perform preventive maintenance (PM) according to approved schedules.
  • Maintain machine maintenance records and repair history, and develop and maintain equipment maintenance schedules.
  • Track equipment performance, downtime and maintenance costs and generate maintenance reports and performance metrics.
  • Monitor spare parts inventory levels and replenishment requirements and ensure spare parts availability to support production requirements.
  • Maintain production tooling, jigs and fixtures in optimal condition and coordinate tooling repair, modification and replacement activities. Also ensure tooling readiness for production schedules.
  • Coordinate external service providers or vendors for specialized maintenance and repairs.
  • Support installation, commissioning and qualification of new equipment.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce maintenance costs and improve equipment efficiency.
  • Ensure all equipment operates within specified parameters and safety requirements as well as company safety policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 3-5 years experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
  • Preventive and corrective maintenance methodologies.
  • Knowledge and experience in furnace maintenance and temperature control systems would be an added value.
  • Spare parts inventory management and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).
  • Technical documentation and reporting.
  • Effective communication and teamwork.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Strong ownership and accountability.
