Role Description
- Lead, mentor and manage a finance team consisting of 3 Senior Executives and 3 Finance Executives, and work closely with the HOD on strategic financial matters.
- Oversee monthly closing activities, group consolidation and preparation of accurate financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants and authorities for statutory submissions (audit, tax computation, CP204).
- Review and improve internal controls, accounting processes and financial policies for better compliance and efficiency.
- Prepare monthly forecasts, management reports, cashflow projections and support the annual budgeting process.
- Ensure timely submission of reporting packages from subsidiaries and maintain alignment with group reporting requirements.
- Monitor group cashflow, liquidity and provide insight for strategic financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, statutory requirements and corporate governance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, MICPA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
- Minimum68 years of relevant finance/accounting experience, with at least23 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Experience inmanufacturingandfull set of accountsis required.
- Exposure togroup consolidationis an added advantage.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Navision or other ERP systems is preferred.
- Strong analytical, leadership and communication skills.
