Manufacturing Manager

Responsibilities:

• Work Environment: Provide a work environment that fosters positive energy, creativity, and teamwork among employees. Achieve this by conducting meetings, listening to departmental issues and concerns, and setting a professional example through leadership qualities.
• Institute Rules: Set rules and procedures for employees to follow, including workplace policies to ensure effective implementation and adherence throughout the organization.
• Manage Budget: Handle the company's operating budget, determining expenditures and future purchases. Maintain a cost mindset to provide products and services that retain customers.
• Representing Company: Act as a spokesperson at committee meetings and functions, discussing organizational objectives and plans to drive business success.
• Decision Maker: Address issues such as risk management, quality matters, shipment delays, client dissatisfaction, and employee problems. Make effective decisions to ensure smooth operations and prevent future difficulties.
• Recruiter/Supervisor: Responsible for hiring employees, supervising and evaluating their performance, giving directions, resolving work performance issues, establishing rules and procedures, and creating work schedules.

Requirements:

• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, or relevant professional qualifications.
• Desired Qualifications: Business/Operations Management.
• Core Skills: Manufacturing Management (Advanced level).
• Additional Skills: Financial management, knowledge of ISO 9001 certification requirements, familiarity with equipment assembly and precision engineering products (advantageous).
• Relevant Experience: At least 5 years in a related field in a middle-management position.
• Leadership Traits: Able to work well under pressure, ability to lead and manage, team building.
• Personality Profile: Good communicator, strong leadership, teamwork, responsible, willing to take challenges and be helpful, positive thinking.
• Computer Literacy: MS Office.
• Language Proficiency: English, Malay, and Mandarin (advantageous).
• Other Requirements: An existing Production Manager with strong working experience can be considered for this position
