Job Summary
Responsible for leading and managing box build manufacturing operations for semiconductor
equipment. This role ensures production efficiency, quality, cost, delivery, and safety targets
are met while driving continuous improvement, capacity readiness, and compliance with
semiconductor industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end box build manufacturing including assembly, integration, test, and
shipment of semiconductor equipment.
- Achieve quality, cost, delivery, and safety (QCDS) targets through effective production
planning, capacity, and manpower management.
- Develop and execute production plans to meet customer demand and ramp
requirements.
- Drive manufacturing quality improvement, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain on DFM, ECO implementation,
and material readiness.
- Lead Lean / Kaizen / Six Sigma initiatives to improve productivity, yield, and cost.
- Track and monitor key KPIs, including on-time delivery, first-pass yield, cycle time, and
productivity.
- Ensure compliance with EHS, ISO, and customer semiconductor standards.
- Lead, coach, and develop supervisors, engineers, and operators.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- 8–12 years of manufacturing experience, with at least 3–5 years in a management role.
- Strong experience in semiconductor or capital equipment box builds manufacturing.
- Experience with high-mix, low-volume production environments.
- Lean / Six Sigma certification is an advantage.
- Experience in semiconductor capital equipment manufacturing or high-tech system integration is highly preferred.
- Metal boxbuild assembly experience, such as Power Box, PDU, semicond industrial metal boxbuild assy.
- Metal welding, coating/plating requirements & metal boxbuild product drawing understanding.
- Boxbuild electrical & functionality testing equipment & procedure.
- Experience on Lean Mfg principles, process improvement methodologies & problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead the CFT team on Production capacity planning to meet OTD, improvement to drive the Quality/Productivity & Efficiency
- Experience on using AutoCAD/SolidWorks/CATIA/Creo software.
- strong proficiency in GD&T is required.
- Candidates who are fluent in Mandarin are preferred because the role requires candidates to interact with Mandarin-speaker
