Position: Blending Engineer
Company: Bunge Loders Crooklaan Oils Sdn Bhd
Location: Pasir Gudang, Johor
Salary: RM6,000 RM7,999
Experience: Minimum 3 years in relevant role
Education: Bachelor's in Manufacturing or related field
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and optimize blending/drumming systems to improve throughput, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.
- Plan efficient blending line layouts and workflows, ensuring oil availability for packing.
- Recommend and implement process automation, upgrades, or equipment replacements.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and coordinate corrective actions with maintenance.
- Monitor critical control points (fill volume, sealing, labeling, etc.) and ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, HALAL, and safety regulations.
- Develop SOPs and train operators on best practices and equipment safety.
- Analyze line performance (OEE, downtime, rejects) and report KPIs; participate in audits and implement improvements.
- Support manpower planning and maintain technical documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in blending, drumming, or production operations.
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, HALAL standards, and health, safety, and environmental regulations.
