Essential Functions/ Responsibilities:
- Design Test Tooling assemblies for Electrical Test First Time Build of cable assemblies.
- Review the design of printed circuit boards and fixtures for Electrical Test of First Time Build of HDR cable product and feedback findings to designer.
- Create Process Documentation for Electrical Test processes.
- Create and qualify Test Programs for Electrical Test.
- Cooperate with SIG ATG to assemble, debug, qualify new Test Systems.
- Support production floor for troubleshooting Low and High-Speed Test systems.
- Perform failure analysis of Electrical Test failed product and determine root cause with support from Global Samtec teams.
- Cooperate with global Samtec teams to maintain Samtec HDR product serialization system.
- Part number creation and configuration in Samtec serialization and tracking software.
- Cooperate with control engineer, process engineer, manufacturing engineer for transfer project & sustaining improvement project on Electrical Test side.
Required Experience:
- Above 2 years related working experience on PCB board design.
- Familiar with LSET, HSET, signal integrity test.
- Experience in engineering design software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD etc).
- Knowledge of PCB manufacturing process is a plus.
- Experience in creating and maintaining serialization scripting.
- Strong interpersonal, technical, verbal, and written communication skills are a must.
- Must be able to sit/stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
