Adecco's client, a global asset servicing organisation supporting international banking and investment operations, is seeking a Market Solutions Specialist to join its operations technology and automation team. The role sits within a specialised Market Solutions function, focusing on automation development, operational support, and enhancement of banking services processes within a fast-paced, regulated financial services environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with operations teams to define business requirements, specifications, and automation needs for banking services processes
- Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual processing
- Support and troubleshoot issues raised by operations teams related to banking applications and internal tools
- Develop, enhance, and maintain existing macros, scripts, and automation tools to support evolving business requirements
- Automate reporting extraction processes and KPI dashboards to improve visibility and operational reporting efficiency
- Act as a key liaison between operations teams and technical stakeholders to ensure alignment of requirements and delivery
- Analyse operational workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
- Ensure timely resolution of system and tool-related issues while maintaining operational continuity
- Support implementation of new tools, enhancements, and automation initiatives across Banking Services
- Provide guidance and technical support to operational users on tools under the Banking Services scope
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (Finance, IT, Business, Engineering or equivalent)
- Strong technical proficiency in SQL, VBA, and Python
- Experience in automation development, process improvement, or operational support within financial services
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret business requirements into technical solutions
- Good understanding of banking services or financial operations is an added advantage
