Overview
The Marketing Admin Executive role is based in BMW Group Malaysia's National Sales Centre (NSC) in based in
Cyberjaya. The Executive will play a part in the larger marketing team, who will be responsible for marketing activities including planning, execution, and administrative tasks (majorly focused on creative ideation, media planning and on-ground activation). One of the other key task for this role is to finance book-keeping for the marketing department.
The role is a hybrid position that offers the flexibility to work from home for up to two days a week, provided there are no meetings requiring physical attendance. This arrangement is subject to change.
Responsibilities
- With guidance from managers, steer internal departments, external agencies and vendors to effectively manage product and campaign launches
- Provide support and presentation of ideas as a contributor in establishing and executing advertising strategy
- Assist in data research and analysis for establishing alternatives of brand/marketing communication strategy, market trends & competitor's trend/analysis
- Keeping track of monthly campaign performance via scaled metrics and ensure timely submission of reports
- Accountable for day-to-day execution of assigned task
- Preparation of Weekly Purchase Request & Purchase Order submissions
- Manage and track monthly expenses, cross charges and invoicing
- Marketing department budget planning, monitoring, tracking & reporting to Finance Department
- Ad Hoc duties, functions or responsibilities assigned to you from time to time
Qualifications
- Min 1 year experience in advertising, marketing or similar/related industry
- Must be willing to travel to Cyberjaya (BMW office based)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Positive, problem-solver, can-do attitude
- Self-starter and inquisitive demeanor
- Strong communication skills
- Detail oriented, with excellent organizational, time and self-management skills
- Strong sense of initiative, a team player and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to multitasks across projects
- Understands how to prioritize & coordinate tasks across multiple projects
