Job Description

Client Background: Electrical products wholesaler

Tenure: Permanent

Location: Balakong, Selangor

Headcount: 1

Role Responsibilities

  1. Macro-Economics & Market Trends

  • Analyze the country's macroeconomic situation and create reports.

  • Study megatrends and industry trends by segment, then report findings.

  • Analyze industry competitors and trend changes.

  • Develop yearly marketing plans for each business segment, including:

    • Internal and external communication tools

    • Pricing strategies

    • Product launch and update roadmap

    • Events and marketing activities plan

  • Analyze industry pricing and suggest pricing frameworks.

  1. Budget and Planning

  • Manage yearly budget processes and review monthly marketing plans.

  1. Coordination with Stakeholders

  • Work closely with internal teams: Sales, Technical Support, Finance, Operations.

  • Coordinate with external parties: Customers, Event Organizers, Associations, Influencers.

  1. Communication Skills Development

  • Improve communication strategies, including digital:

    • External communication

    • Social media

    • Website management

    • Customer experience

  1. Other Tasks

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

EMS and OHSMS Responsibilities

  • Follow Legrand's Environmental, Health, and Safety policies and systems.

  • Report any environmental or safety issues to the proper personnel.

  • Know how to handle normal and emergency situations related to environment and safety.

  • Participate in training, programs, and audits on environment and safety.

  • Understand and manage risks related to your work.

  • Help conserve water, energy, and paper.

  • Keep your workspace safe, clean, and compliant with laws and company standards.

  • Join company quality, environmental, and safety activities when needed.

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related fields.

  • Experience in marketing and communications, including managing campaigns and digital marketing.

  • Team management experience is a plus.
