Role Description The Marketing and Business Development Intern is a full-time, on-site role based in WP, Kuala Lumpur. This intern will assist in supporting marketing initiatives and business development activities, including conducting market research, helping prepare pitch materials, and contributing to marketing strategy discussions. Day-to-day tasks include gathering and analyzing industry data, maintaining contact databases, assisting with outreach to prospective clients or partners, and supporting the development of marketing content and presentations. The intern will also help coordinate meetings, participate in internal discussions on client opportunities, and collaborate with team members to enhance client service and firm visibility.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with social media platforms, digital engagement, and event-related products/services
• Candidates should possess Sales and Marketing Strategy skills to support client outreach, pipeline development, and campaign planning.
• Candidates should demonstrate analytical thinking, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools.
• Candidates should be self-motivated, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and comfortable collaborating in a team setting.
• Relevant coursework or interest in finance, business, economics, or marketing is beneficial; prior internship experience in related fields is an advantage.
