We are looking for an entrepreneurial and ambitious individual to join our team as Content & Customer Engagement Marketing. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about creating meaningful customer experiences through strategic content, communications, and engagement initiatives.
You will take ownership of planning, developing, and implementing multi-channel marketing programs focused on engaging Wholesale Banking segments—including Corporate, Commercial & SME—through content, communications, events, and activations that drive acquisition, adoption, and loyalty.
Responsibilities:
Content Strategy & Development
- Conceptualize and produce multi-format content (articles, videos, infographics, social posts) from ideation to distribution and optimization.
- Develop and manage an editorial calendar for internal and external communications.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to source stories and insights relevant to business audiences.
Customer Engagement & Events
- Plan and execute customer engagement initiatives, including virtual and physical events, roundtables, and activations.
- Strategize and develop a business matching platform to facilitate meaningful connections between customers, partners, and prospects—supporting business growth and collaboration.
- Manage end-to-end event logistics, stakeholder coordination, and budget oversight.
Channel Planning & Communications
- Strategically plan pre- and post-event communications across digital and non-digital channels to maximize reach and impact.
- Examples include:
- Digital: EDMs, LinkedIn posts, WeChat updates, microsites, WhatsApp broadcasts, and paid media campaigns.
- Non-Digital: Printed collaterals, direct mailers, in-branch displays, and media coverage in platforms such as Sin Chew Daily, The Star, The Edge etc
Partnerships & Collaboration
- Manage third-party content partnerships, sponsorships and media collaborations.
- Work with digital agencies, media outlets, translation services, and community platforms to amplify messaging and engagement.
Research & Insights
- Conduct research to understand market landscape, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
- Identify content and engagement opportunities aligned with business goals.
Skills & Attributes
- Strong storytelling, writing, and editing skills; ability to read and write Mandarin is a plus.
- Deep understanding of content marketing, social media, and digital engagement strategies.
- A digital-first mindset with the ability to connect content, channels, and customer journeys.
- Experience in planning and executing integrated campaigns across multiple touchpoints.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
- Tenacious, resourceful, and mature in managing stakeholders and external partners.
- Experience in banking and/or finance industry is preferred.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or content strategy.
- Proven track record in customer engagement, campaign planning, and event execution.
- Familiarity with digital tools and platforms (e.g., social media, analytics).
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
