POSITION PURPOSE
This role supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of Mindflight7's education and marketing events across Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) and the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.
The Marketing and Events Manager is responsible for overseeing events of various sizes, from large-scale exhibitions and conferences to smaller school-based activations and career expos, ensuring each event is professionally executed and aligned with company objectives.
As part of a small, energetic team, you will work closely with marketing and logistics teams to manage event planning, coordination, and on-the-ground delivery, ensuring each event runs smoothly and to a high standard. Collaboration with our international teams across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Fiji is key to our success and forms a core part of this role.

T-shaped organisational structure this means team members are encouraged to develop a deep level of expertise in one area (the vertical bar of the T), while also gaining the ability to collaborate and contribute across different functions (the horizontal bar of the T).

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and lead the delivery of education and industry events across ANZ and APAC
- Manage event timelines, run sheets, budgets, logistics, and supplier coordination
- Support large scale expos and conferences as well as smaller recurring education events
- Coordinate print production of event materials and marketing collateral
- Ensure events align with marketing objectives and brand positioning
- Coordinate with internal teams including marketing, logistics, and delivery to ensure smooth execution
- Liaise with venues, partners, schools, and external stakeholders
- Support on site and remote event delivery as required
- Assist with event related marketing coordination and promotional timelines
- Track post event feedback, reporting, and continuous improvement
- Manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines
- Support international collaboration across different countries and time zones
Ideal Attributes & Skills
Qualifications & Education
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Events Management, Communications, Business, or a related discipline preferred.
- Relevant professional certifications in marketing or event management will be highly regarded.
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in event management, marketing, or a combined marketing and events role
- Experience leading end to end event planning from concept to execution
- Strong project management capability, including budgets, timelines, and stakeholder coordination
- Experience supporting large scale exhibitions and conferences as well as recurring education or industry events
- Background in marketing, branding, or social media coordination is preferred
- Experience working across regions or collaborating with international teams
- Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
- Suitable for an experienced marketing and events manager or a strong events coordinator ready to step into a managerial role
WORKING HOURS & RENUMERATION
- Working Hours: Working hours will align with business needs across ANZ and APAC regions. Flexibility will be required to support events outside standard hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.
- Start Date: Immediate (flexible for the right candidate)
- Remuneration: MYR 4,000 MYR 7,000 per month, depending on experience and seniority.
