POSITION SUMMARY
- Assist in planning, managing, and executing all marketing, advertising, publicity, and promotional events for the assigned Brand(s) according to VG guidelines.
- Assist in defining customer centric marketing strategies, process and procedures for promotions and brand initiatives.
- Support the Brand's Business Goals.
- Support CRM and increase existing base of VIP customers
- Uphold and maintain VM standards of the stores in accordance with brand guidelines.
- Ensure that displays are changed regularly, and themes can be dictated by a number of factors, including the seasons of the year, regional brand and local market moments and activations, or promotional material.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Build & Implement Strategic Marketing Plans
- Assist the Brand annual business plan, A&P budget and monthly marketing calendar for optimum utilization of funds to increase ROI and attain necessary approvals prior to execution.
- Assist to develop strategies for new customer recruitment and CRM plans for top-of-mind recall.
- Create and publish all marketing campaigns in line with marketing plans.
- Make periodical competitor store visits to better understand the business marketing needs.
- Assist the Marketing Manager to partner with 3rd party and Valiram Brand(s) to develop seasonal marketing and PR strategies.
Media Coverage
- Asist the Marketing Manager to plan and direct advertising, public relations, and promotional events and strategies for the Brand(s).
- Assist in Interpreting Brand(s) programs for the media and the public.
- Develop social media content and campaigns to build online brand awareness.
Media and Landlord Relationships
- Asist in developing, and maintaining local, national, and international media relations.
- Maintain good relationships with mall management for tie up, mall advertising, event real estate opportunities.
Execute Events and Promotions
- Assist in planning and implementing events calendar for positive brand building through promotional activities.
- Assist in conducting media and press events for seasonal launches.
- Execute multiple local press days & consumer events to drive brand equity.
Brand Reporting and Analysis
- Ensure timely submission of all marketing reports including post-event reports.
- Review and research marketing campaigns of competitor brands.
- Assist in tracking marketing performance, gather consumer insights, and evaluate program effectiveness.
- Assist in delivering post program and promotion analysis and key best practises to Management.
Visual Merchandise
- Create a retail environment that represents the brand using innovative and unique approaches to obtain a customer friendly atmosphere; maintain and grow a visual personality for each store that is reflective of the community in which it is located.
- Implement the company's visual merchandising directives throughout the store; such directives may require some creativity in moulding them into being consistent with the particular store's goals and image.
- Focus on marketing visual merchandising needs by working closely with marketing manager.
- Work with the Operations/Retail Manager/ Marketing Manager/ VP Visual Merchandising in determining specific visual needs, such as fixtures, image photos, and point of sale materials for every market moment and events (instore or out of home)
- Coordinate with Operations & Store Leaders to schedule appropriate time for floor set, shipping processes and receiving merchandise to make sure that merchandise is ready before being displayed for sale in the store.
- Preparing for promotional events/ launches which could include contributing ideas for the whole set-up and dismantling displays at the end of promotional period.
- To work closely with supplier for materials, fixtures, props and/ or other items for the store/ promotions/ events. To find new suppliers and source/procure in cost effective manner when needed.
Ensure Display are Changed Regularly
- Assist in designing and conceptualizing on all promotional materials such as invites, emailer and corporate identity to support Marketing and Merchandising team that compliance with brand VM guidelines.
- Follow up on all VM related paperwork such as raising POs and submission of invoices.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field.
- Minimum 1-3-years experience in luxury goods, beauty or a comparable retail environment and experience with CRM/client insight and omnichannel marketing.
- Ability to analyse data and craft workable findings from consumer and market intelligence and insights.
- Proficient in designing skills such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrators.
