Job Description

A Marketing Executive executes social media strategies, manages campaigns, and builds partnerships to enhance brand visibility and engagement across digital platforms. This role involves analysing performance data, coordinating with creative teams and external agencies, and supervising interns to deliver high-quality content and measurable results. The executive works collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to maintain a strong online presence, leveraging AI tools and emerging trends to support the company's marketing objectives and growth targets.

Main Task and Accountabilities:

  • Create and publish content across social media platforms to build brand visibility and engagement.
  • Design and execute campaigns based on strategic direction, monitoring performance and optimising to meet KPIs.
  • Coordinate event logistics including booth setup, team management, and on-ground execution.
  • Identify and manage collaborations with influencers, brands, and talent to expand reach and deliver measurable results.
  • Analyse social media data and prepare performance reports on campaigns, events, partnerships, and platform metrics to inform strategy.
  • Supervise interns and collaborate with the in-house creative team, providing clear briefs and feedback.
  • Oversee external agencies handling SEO/SEM and website development/maintenance, ensuring deliverables align with brand standards.
  • Utilise AI-powered tools to streamline content creation, automate workflows, and enhance campaign efficiency.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as and when required by Management.

  • Platform expertise:Deep understanding of META, TikTok, and emerging social channels including features, algorithms, and content best practices.
  • Content development:Strong copywriting skills and ability to brief creative teams with clear, actionable direction.
  • Data analytics:Proficiency in interpreting social media metrics, identifying trends, and translating insights into strategic recommendations.
  • Partnership management:Experience negotiating with influencers, managing collaborations, and measuring partnership ROI.
  • AI and automation:Familiarity with AI tools for content creation, scheduling, workflow automation, and performance tracking.
  • Team coordination:Ability to delegate effectively, provide constructive feedback, and manage intern workflows.

  • Communication skills:Excellent written and verbal skills in English; Mandarin and/or Bahasa Malaysia is a bonus.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on marketing experience with demonstrated social media results.
  • Strong passion for social media trends, digital culture, and emerging platforms.
  • Experience supervising junior team members or interns is a bonus
