Job Description

Job Title: Marketing Executive (Key Accounts)

Work base: Subang Jaya

Reporting to: Strategic Account Manager


Job Outline:

As part of a fast growing team, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing trade marketing strategies to increase brand presence, optimize product visibility, and drive sales growth within key pharmacy accounts. You will also be responsible for contract preparation, budget management, and post-campaign analysis to measure effectiveness and optimize future trade activities.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement trade marketing plans to support sales objectives in key accounts.
  • Plan and execute in-store promotions, merchandising programs, and visibility initiatives to enhance product positioning.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to recommend proactive strategies.
  • Support contract negotiations with trade insights and promotional strategies.
  • Assist in the preparation of contracts, ensuring alignment with agreed trade terms, promotional commitments, and compliance with company policies.
  • Communicate product value propositions to the sales team and develop trade marketing tools.
  • Ensure brand consistency in all trade activities by aligning in-store promotions, merchandising, and trade programs with the brand’s key message and unique selling propositions (USPs)
  • Monitor trade marketing performance through sales data analysis and market research.
  • Track return on investment (ROI) for trade promotions and optimize strategies.
  • Manage trade marketing budgets effectively for cost-efficient execution.
  • Conduct regular field visits to key accounts to assess trade marketing execution.
  • Provide guidance to merchandisers to ensure proper execution of promotional programs.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Pharmacy, Science, or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • 2–3 years of experience in trade marketing or key account sales (pharmaceutical/healthcare/FMCG industry preferred). Experience in online/ digital marketing is a bonus.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to trade marketing decisions.
  • Experience in in-store promotions, merchandising, and trade program execution.
  • Comfortable working with numbers, metrics, spreadsheets and presentation decks.
  • Good communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Possesses own transport and is willing to travel.
  • Based in Subang Jaya, Selangor.
