This is an on-site role in Skudai or Mount Austin, with the opportunity to also collaborate virtually with our international team across different regions. You'll gain hands-on experience managing real client projects while learning to work in a hybrid local-global environment.
Role Description
This is an internship role for a Digital Marketing Intern with a focus on Social Media. As a Digital Marketing Intern, you will be responsible for assisting with social media marketing, digital marketing tasks, and online marketing strategies. You will also conduct web analytics and contribute to ongoing marketing campaigns. This is an on-site role located in Skudai.
Qualifications
- Plan, draft, and schedule content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn
- Assist in managing client social media accounts and replying to basic inquiries
- Brainstorm creative content ideas that align with client goals and target audiences
- Use tools like Canva, CapCut, ChatGPT, and Meta Business Suite to enhance efficiency
- Collaborate virtually with our international team on campaign planning and content feedback
- Track performance metrics and suggest basic improvements (e.g., post timing, format)
- Join client briefings or discussions to better understand their brand voice and goals
- Stay up to date with trends to help keep content fresh and relevant
Must-Have Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn)
- Currently studying or recently completed a course in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Comfortable working with clients and virtual international teammates
- Good command of English and/or Malay (written & spoken)
- Must have a laptop and be available to work on-site in Skudai or Mount Austin
- 01 year experience managing personal, freelance, or client social accounts
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with Canva, CapCut, Meta Suite, or Buffer
- Familiarity with AI tools for generating content ideas and captions
- Knows how to run basic ads or boosted posts
- Has a portfolio, sample posts, or personal social media work to showcase

- Strong communication skills both for local team collaboration and virtual teamwork
