AMOREPACIFIC MALAYSIA is looking for a strategic thinking Marketing Manager for one of our exciting brands.
In this role, you will manage the planning, development, and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns aligned with the brand direction.
You will play an important role, such as:
- Develop and execute Brand Marketing Strategy that aligns with the brand's growth objectives and overall direction.
- Act as the key liaison between Global HQ and local market to ensure strong alignment on brand strategy, positioning, and annual priorities
- Create and implement 360 marketing plans for all activations, including new product launches and events.
- Translate global brand direction, campaign toolkits, and launch frameworks into locally relevant marketing plans while maintaining brand consistency
- Stay updated on market trends, competition, and consumer insights to ensure the brand remains competitive and relevant.
- Manage the brand's P&L and ensure strategic initiatives contribute to sustainable business growth.
- Oversee endtoend execution of marketing campaigns from concept development and briefing to implementation and performance evaluation.
- Enhance brand visibility and affinity through digital marketing, social media, PR, and media collaborations.
- Manage and track brand's A&P budget, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
- Develop and drive Push Strategies, leading the team in promotions, customer events, and retail activities.
- Build strong relationships with retailers, securing optimal visibility, promo exposure, and collaborative opportunities.
- Work closely and liaise with Watsons, Guardian, and key retail partners to plan and execute trade marketing initiatives and instore activations.
- Support the development of POSM, displays, and promotional materials, ensuring timely deployment and quality execution instore.
To be successful in this role, you would need to have:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a managerial role in a related field is preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Marketing, Business Studies, or Management.
- Current knowledge of the retail industry or a similar capacity, especially in the beauty industry or FMCG.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, along with knowledge of the SAP system, can be an advantage.
- Good rapport with media, retailers, and malls.
- Able to demonstrate strong analytical skills.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Understanding P&L management is beneficial.
