We are looking for a dynamic and versatile Marketing Manager to own and drive BIPO's marketing
strategy and execution in Malaysia. This role is ideal for a strategic yet hands-on marketer who can
balance planning with execution. You will lead integrated marketing, brand activation, and partner led initiatives to strengthen BIPO's market position, generate qualified leads, and support revenue growth in Malaysia.
Responsibilities
- Market & Campaign Strategy: Develop and execute a localized marketing strategy for Malaysia that aligns with regional priorities, growth targets, and brand positioning.
- Integrated Campaigns & ROI: Plan, implement, and optimise end-to-end marketing campaigns (online and offline) to drive awareness, lead generation, and measurable ROI in Malaysia.
- Brand Activation: Lead brand activation initiatives to strengthen BIPO's visibility and preference in the Malaysian market, ensuring consistent brand experience across all touchpoints.
- Events & Tradeshows: Identify, plan, and execute strategic events, conferences, and
- tradeshows. Manage event calendars, local vendors, booth design, entitlements, and post-event lead follow-up.
- Content Leadership: Create and localise high-impact content for the Malaysian audience,
- including blog posts, infographics, case studies, sales decks, and social content that position
- BIPO as a thought leader.
- Digital Marketing & Demand Generation: Own always-on digital marketing activities (SEO, SEM, AEO, paid social, retargeting) to drive high-intent traffic, inquiries, and marketing-qualified leads.
- CRM & Email Marketing: Manage CRM-driven campaigns (EDMs, nurture journeys, workflows) including audience segmentation, testing, and performance analysis to support pipeline growth.
- Sales Enablement: Design impactful sales pitch decks, one-pagers, and enablement materials
- that support the sales team's lead generation and market activation efforts.
- Partnerships & Alliances Support: Partner with global and regional alliances teams to execute in-country co-marketing activities that amplify BIPO's partner ecosystem and local presence.
- Internal & Employer Branding: Support internal communications, employee engagement
- initiatives, and employer branding campaigns, including CSR activities that reflect BIPO's values.
- Insights & Reporting: Track, analyse, and report on campaign and channel performance, turning insights into actionable recommendations and continuous optimisation.
- Budget & Vendor Management: Manage local marketing budgets, negotiate with vendors, and ensure efficient allocation of spend across channels and activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years experience in marketing, with proven ownership of integrated campaigns in B2B, tech, or SaaS environments.
- Demonstrated track record of managing multi-channel campaigns from concept and planning through to execution, optimisation, and reporting.
- Proficient in HubSpot, WordPress, and core SEO/SEM tools (e.g. Google Ads, Google Analytics or equivalent).
- Strong visual and brand sensibility; skilled in Adobe Photoshop and/or Canva to develop on-brand marketing assets.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools for content ideation, optimisation, and creative workflows.
- Excellent writing, storytelling, and communication skills in English; proficiency in an additional language such as Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin is an advantage.
- Highly organised, resourceful, and able to operate as an independent, end-to-end marketing owner for the Malaysia market.
