About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Marketing Manager to drive our brand and channel marketing initiatives in Malaysia. This role is designed for candidates who specialize in either brand management or channel development, but are also willing and able to support the other area as part of a well-rounded marketing function. Over time, the role may evolve to focus more deeply on one stream based on business needs and individual strengths.
Key Responsibilities:
Channel Management
- Plan and drive the development of PCR (Passenger Car Radial) brand image stores.
- Oversee store construction, dealer empowerment, and training programs to strengthen channel performance and brand presence.
Brand Management
- Brand marketing activities:Plan and execute brand campaigns including new product launches, premium roadshows, exhibitions, and track experience events to enhance brand influence.
- Digital Marketing: Manage digital marketing channels (social media, automotive forums) and develop content strategies to drive online engagement and lead generation.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activity and consumer trends to provide insights for pricing, product, and channel strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of marketing experience, preferably in the tire industry or mid-to-high-end automotive sector.
- Strong expertise in either brand campaign planning or channel/channel partner development, with the ability to contribute to the other area.
- Willingness to learn and adapt across both brand and channel functions.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required; Mandarin is a strong plus.
- Willing to travel nationwide (Malaysia) and overseas as needed.
