Job Description

Role Purpose

The Marketing Manager is responsible for driving the communication and maintenance of global brand values while aligning local market strategies with overall brand direction. The role ensures a clear brand vision and positioning in-market, tracks business performance, and identifies opportunities and risks.

This role also serves as the key liaison for all commercial and marketing activities between the brand and retail partners.

Key Responsibilities

1. Brand Strategy & Marketing Execution

  • Develop, plan, and execute marketing strategies to achieve brand objectives in the local market.
  • Ensure strong understanding and adherence to brand principles across all marketing and retail partners.
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Commercial teams on planning, budgeting, and execution of ATL, BTL, PR, and media activities.
  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns in line with global brand guidelines.
  • Recommend wholesale and retail pricing strategies based on market dynamics and the competitive landscape.

2. Commercial Performance & Business Growth

  • Own and be accountable for brand P&L performance.
  • Drive distribution expansion and ensure strong brand presence across key retail channels.
  • Oversee product placement across physical retail stores and online platforms in accordance with brand guidelines.
  • Monitor market competition, including pricing, marketing activities, and product positioning.
  • Collaborate with demand planning teams on forecasting and product ordering.
  • Manage A&P budgets, ensuring effective spend control and alignment with business objectives.
  • Partner with training teams to equip sales teams with product, brand, and selling knowledge.

3. Reporting & Business Reviews

  • Prepare business review materials for periodic discussions with brand stakeholders.
  • Support senior management in monthly reporting and performance tracking.
  • Provide insights on market performance, risks, opportunities, and competitor activities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-6 years of marketing experience, preferably within lifestyle electronics, premium consumer brands, retail, luxury, or lifestyle sectors.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of people management experience leading a marketing team.
  • Strong track record in brand management, digital marketing, integrated campaign planning, and driving commercial growth.
