🎯 Role Overview

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing XCA’s marketing strategy across digital, events, and partnerships. You’ll oversee our marketing team, ensure steady student lead flow, and drive the academy’s reputation as a hub for game development and future-tech education.

This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution — from campaign planning to content oversight and event promotions.

🧩 Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute XCA’s marketing strategy for student recruitment, brand awareness, and event promotion.
  • Lead digital marketing campaigns across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Facebook, discord, and all related platforms
  • Manage and mentor the marketing team (content creator, performance marketer, interns).
  • Coordinate student recruitment campaigns, ensuring steady leads and high conversion rates.
  • Oversee content strategy: student stories, reels, blogs, video campaigns, and event coverage.
  • Manage paid ad campaigns with a focus on ROI and cost per lead.
  • Collaborate with program, events, and BD teams to support student engagement and event success.
  • Track and report monthly marketing KPIs (leads, CPL, conversion rate, social media growth).
  • Strengthen brand visibility through PR, influencers, and partnerships.
📊 Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
  • Generate 100+ qualified leads per quarter.
  • Achieve 10–15% lead-to-enrollment conversion rate.
  • Grow social media following by 25–30% annually.
  • Maintain CPL ≤ RM120 for paid campaigns.
  • Ensure 90%+ on-time execution of marketing calendar.

🛠 Requirements
  • 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in education, tech, gaming, or creative industries.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, paid ads, and social media growth.
  • good skillset of basic to intermediate tools - ad design / video editing / ppt
  • Hands-on skills in campaign management, content oversight, and brand storytelling.
  • Ability to manage a small team and coordinate across departments.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using marketing analytics and reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and creative thinking skills.

  • Competitive salary: RM8,000 – RM12,000 (depending on experience).
