Exciting Marketing Manager (HOD) for a new and exciting F&B Retail brand in Malaysia!

A fast-growing and innovative F&B Retail brand is seeking a Marketing & Brand Strategist to elevate its brand presence in an increasingly competitive marketplace. Known for its strong market positioning and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences, this organisation offers a dynamic and collaborative environment where creativity and strategic thinking are highly valued. We are hiring a Marketing manager that will become the pioneer of the Marketing team in the MY team. The office is based in heart of Kuala Lumpur.

Your new role
  • As the Marketing & Brand Strategist, you will be responsible for shaping long-term brand vision and driving impactful marketing initiatives across all channels.
  • Your role will involve developing brand positioning strategies, ensuring consistent brand identity across outlets, and providing strategic guidance to leadership on market opportunities.
  • You will oversee integrated marketing campaigns, manage annual promotional roadmaps, and collaborate closely with creative, media, and PR agencies to deliver strong ROI.
  • You will also lead research into guest behaviour, dining trends, and competitor movements, translating insights into actionable strategies.
  • Beyond campaigns, you will drive guest engagement initiatives, loyalty programs, community partnerships, and brand storytelling across social media and PR.
  • Leadership responsibilities include mentoring junior team members, managing agencies, and ensuring alignment across operations, culinary, and business development teams.
  • You will define KPIs, manage reporting, optimise budgets, and spearhead digital transformation initiatives such as SEO, SEM, CRM, and loyalty platforms.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 4-7 years of experience in marketing strategy, campaigns, partnerships, and digital marketing.
  • Strong track record in executing integrated campaigns, managing agencies, and driving marketing ROI.
  • Ability to lead research, analyse market insights, and translate findings into actionable strategies.
  • Experience with paid ads, digital tools, CRM, and emerging marketing technologies.
  • Highly creative, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, consumer-driven environment.
  • Bonus: Ability to create or edit short-form social content.
