Job Purpose
The Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with (S)VP of Marketing, internal teams, business units, and external vendors to develop and implement marketing plans that promote Lockton. This role focuses on managing day-to-day marketing operations and assisting the (S)VP in executing marketing campaigns and initiatives. The Marketing Manager will ensure that all marketing efforts align with the organisation's business objectives and contribute to the strategic vision set by leadership.
Key Tasks & Duties and Measurements
Client Engagement
- Coordinate industry events, sponsorships, and networking activities to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Collaborate with regional and global digital teams and agencies to implement digital best practices across all channels.
- Manage and maintain the marketing activity calendar for all stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and timely execution.
- Optimize campaigns and programs by analysing KPIs and collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders on content creation, including design and messaging, to ensure alignment with brand standards.
- Support brand campaigns by working with regional and global teams and creating monthly or quarterly activity reports.
- Maintain and update client and prospect contact lists to ensure accurate and effective communication.
Financial Success
- Provide insights and feedback on budget utilization in channel strategy and optimization tactics.
Operational Excellence & Innovations
- Activate and execute multichannel campaigns and programs that align with the broader marketing strategy, driving lead generation and demand for the business.
- Ensure all campaigns adhere to the established framework, including proper tracking, tagging, and analytics for performance measurement.
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Finance, Journalism, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of marketing and communications experience, preferably in a professional services or B2B environment.
Competencies
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, practices, and emerging trends.
- Familiarity with the insurance sector, including various lines and risks, is preferred.
